Jesse Sullivan

Born and raised in Southern California, Jesse spent significant time in the Pacific Ocean surfing, fishing, and wakeboarding. He set foot on a sailing catamaran for the first time upon moving to the US Virgin Islands in 2016. With a natural engineering mind, Jesse immediately took to working on boat engines and quickly became the maintenance manager for a fleet of 12 sailing and power yachts based in the V.I. An added perkof Jesse’s job with the charter company was the invaluable opportunity to assist on several deliveries and long passages at sea, completing over 8000 nautical miles in a couple of years, allowing him to earn his Captain’s license by 2019. As a captain, Jesse sailed term charters throughout the Caribbean and along the coast of France for two years before moving to day charters and eventually brokering. 

In 2022, Jesse relocated to Tuscany, Italy, with his fiancé, pitbull, and cat. He still spent half the year living and working in St. Thomas as a Captain and with various maintenance and refurbishment projects. Now that he lives in Europe full time, he’s thrilled to explore the seas throughout the Mediterranean, and to officially enter the world of charter brokering. Jesse brings his expertise in sailing vessel systems, captaining, and the inside world of yacht chartering to Yacht Collective.
